Batman One Bad Day: Penguin #1 – Possible first appearance alert; Umbrella Man. These one-shot (One Bad Day) stories from DC are on point. Writer John Ridley and artist Giuseppe Camuncoli.
Deadly Neighborhood Spider-Man #1 – DC Comics has their “dark” Batman Universe, so what took Marvel so long here? They’ll venture out and begin the Spider-Man Dark Universe here. Probably won’t be as dark as DC’s take, but this will be fun to watch as the new Spidey universe unfolds.
Thor #28 – We were under the impression that the previous issue was bringing Thor and Venom together to team up. We were wrong. It’s Thor vs Venom part two this Wednesday. Fans are loving this.
