Spider-Gwen Smash #1 – 
Let’s get the first thing out of the way, we are not crazy about the title of this book, Smash? Really? Nah, nope not feeling that. Besides that, we are looking forward to the first appearance of some new villains and some new “spins” of characters we all know and love. Spider-Gwen has new nightmare powers too, so that’s why we’re getting all of the Peach Momoko Nightmare variant covers on various titles. So, this is definitely on the pull list this week. Writer Melissa Flores and artist Enid Balam start things off.
Daredevil Gang War #1 – Marvel Comics’ Gang War event will produce a whole bunch of pointless number-one issues, but we’ll buy them anyway. Especially if there are new villain teams like “The Heat” being introduced.
Guardians Of The Galaxy #9 – The Mantis will get her story told (origin).
Punisher #2 – Spoiler alert from the premiere issue. The new Punisher wasted zero time killing the bad guys, with guns a-blazin’ in the first issue. He also met up with the Hulk with Dale Keown Pitt claws, Hyde, and offed him too. Lots of carnage (with guns) going on in here and that’s what the fans have been waiting for from this character for years. The NEW Punisher is back and we’re all here for it.
The Bloody Dozen A Tale Of The Shrouded College #1 – The comic community loves writer Charles Soule. For good reason, man can write a great story. This Wednesday he’ll bless us all with a new supernatural horror story. Although a miniseries, this “saga” means there will probably be more stories after this one. We’re good with that. Image describes this as Apollo 13 meets Blade. Vampires in space. Uh, hell to the yes. Artist Alberto Jimenez Alburquerque will pair with Charles.
The Immortal Thor #5 – The All-New Thor Corps were introduced on the last page of the previous issue (shown in this post) and now we can watch them kick some ass.

Captain America #4 – Readers learn more about the Emissary character.
Invasive #1 – This was due out last week but will make its debut this week. Oni Press building up that anticipation. Writer Cullen Bunn and artist Jesus Hervas.
Batman Gargoyle Of Gotham #2 – Superstar writer/artist Rafael Grampa continues his world of Batman. Introducing new characters along the way.
Blade #6 – Dracula will make an appearance and Blade will possess new powers too.
Two DC Comics with tons of comic creators showcasing their talents this week. Titans Beast World Tour Gotham #1 – Various comic creators will tackle this project with a very good possibility of a first appearance sneaking out of here. DC Comics Titans Beast World event will introduce a large amount of new (altered) animal heroes and villains. And also DC’s ‘Twas The Mite Before Christmas #1. This one will feature…..you guessed it! Short Christmas stories.
