Hot Picks based on new comics coming this Wednesday 7/29/15
Star Wars #7 – This one shot story will be brought to us by the creative team of Simone Bianchi (artist) and writer Jason Aaron. Look for this Star Wars comic to sell out quick. If the aftermarket bust loose a bit on this, sell at a high point, do not wait for “more money”. Remember you paid only $4.99 for the comic. Greed not only kills, it leaves you with a lot of comic books you cannot move.
Sex Criminals #11 – The variant comic will be shipped “covered” in a poly bag. A mature XXX cover will have many collectors curious about it, thus driving interest, thus possibly driving the aftermarket a bit.
Deadpool’s Secret Secret Wars #3 – Deadpool dons a very familiar black costume.
Shrinking Man #1 – IDW Publishing has a hit on their hands. This comic comes from the best selling author Richard Matheson. He’s written some big boy books with no pictures; I Am Legend, A Stir Of Echoes, What Dreams May Come, Somewhere In Time, The Last Man on Earth, Duel, and the list goes on. Both the regular and variant comics are sold out. Probably a good idea to grab one of these. Not only for the speculative aspect, but it’s going to be a great read too. Look for the Larry Comics/JetPack Comics exclusive as well. Great cover here.
