Check out last weeks InvestComics Hot Picks mobile video below. InvestComics Hot Picks #446 – The Covers. Then read the InvestComics Hot Picks #447!

**Please, if you are a new reader or a regular reader of this article and have not seen or read the disclaimer, we urge you to read it (link provided above and tab on top of site).

NOTE. Please understand that when InvestComics releases the Hot Picks article on Friday that many of the independent comics may not be available on Ebay yet. Most of the time, some of the more obscure titles make their way onto Ebay later on in the week or right on/at/before new comic book day on Wednesday. Be sure to check back and click the links or cover(s) to see if the books you want have been listed on Ebay. They usually show up, so be sure to check back!

Before reading ahead, we feel we need to warn you that our articles contain very harsh truths in them. Not vulgar language, just a good solid dose of honesty. They always have, they always will. If you are easily offended, cannot come to terms that other people have opinions too beside yourself and especially if you’re a fanboy, discontinue reading. Go back to the other places selling you the farm. This is NOT the place for you. We’re here to have fun and not lie to you. Thank you and enjoy!

Each week InvestComics seeks out a comic(s) on Ebay for $100 or less and then brings it to the attention of our fans. We call it IC 100 Club Pick. The idea is to get a great book at a great price. We do not own nor are we selling these comics. The comics are found by a random process. We do not know the ebay seller(s), nor are we promoting the Ebay seller. Any knowing from the Ebay seller of InvestComics or its affiliates is purely coincidental. (See disclaimer for more details).

IC 100 Club Pick: Secret Wars #1 9.8 (2015). Here is a neat modern graded under a hundred bucks. This high grade modern has three signatures on it, two of which are creators of Deadpool. The sigs; Rob Liefeld, Fabian Nicieza and Johnathan Hickman. All that for $99? Not too shabby.

Regular readers of the weekly InvestComics Hot Picks know how we pinned the title Deadpool And The Mercs For Money down and predicted the outcome of all the players in the previous series getting their own solo comics. Well, not only is Now Foolkiller #1 coming out this week, but Deadpool And The Mercs For Money #5 features the newest team, lead by Domino, getting their act together from the previous issue. We discussed some of the first appearances of Domino’s new team HERE. The old team’s first appearance’s were discussed HERE.
Foolkiller; Greg Salinger, first appeared in Omega The Unknown #8 (1977). Cover by legend Gil Kane. The Now Foolkiller #1 will be accompanied by many variants. The Rob Liefeld B&W Deadpool variant will garner much attention in the aftermarket.

Marvel begins their newest Avengers title(s) this week; Now Avengers #1 (written by Mark Waid) and Now Occupy Avengers #1. Not crazy about the ‘Now’ in the title in front of the Avengers, but it’s still better than a ‘Totally Awesome Hulk’ title. So many variants to choose from, but it’s the inside of the Now Avengers #1 comic you may want to check out too. Someone dies and you have a chance to find out who first……by getting to your comic shop earlier than everyone else. The Alex Ross Now Avengers #1 variant is a beauty.

If you think Marvel will keep away Wolverine or Thor or countless other original characters away from the fray, you’d be sadly mistaken. Now Unworthy Thor #1 begins the comeback(s) of Marvel’s original elite. Writer Jason Aaron and artist Oliver Coipel on Thor’s (possible) return.

On the topic of covers, Michael Choi Champions #2 white cover is an eye catcher. Death of X #3 cover from Aaron Kuder is amazing. Elektra on the cover of Spider-Man 2099 #17; by Francesco Mattina.

InvestComics has been saying it for years, even before everyone else jumped on the bandwagon. A Moon Knight movie! Right?? It’s right there on the cover of Moon Knight #8. No? Okay, we’re reaching, but maybe Marvel planted a seed here for the fans? Wishful thinking, but in the mean time, stock up from our Moon Knight checklist.

Superman #10 will be the comic everyone is talking about this week. The kids of Supes and Bats meet up for the first time. Boy of Steel and Boy Wonder, along with their daddy’s will make for an interesting read. The regular Patrick Gleason & Mick Gray cover is not only fantastic, but it tells the readers what we may be in for. The variant Andrew Robinson cover is very reminiscent of a now iconic Jim Lee Batman cover back in 2003; Batman #612. Looks as though Andrew gives us another angle of the choke hold. We love this cover.

DC Comics Bombshells #19 marks the return of the Batgirls. This team first appeared together in DC Comics Bombshells #7.
Batman #10 continues the ‘I am suicide’ story line. The story that has Batman putting together his own Suicide Squad team. Part two here.
Writer Meredith Finch and artist Shane Davis bring us Catwoman Election Night #1.
