James McTeigue Talks About the Next Superman Movie

James McTeigue, director of V for Vendetta and rumored leading candidate for the Superman franchise, gave an interview to MTV about what he would do with the next movie.

One of the highlights is his thoughts on the Superman origin story, which is no longer the property of DC :

"I think it’s good that they just had a court case where, basically, if
you make another Superman movie, you can’t touch Superman growing
up—that’s part of the story that you can’t touch any more," he said.
"That wouldn’t be a bad thing. I think everybody’s a bit sick of seeing
the origin story."
