New Star Wars Cartoon Series Set After Return of the Jedi?

AICN is reporting the possiblity of a new Star Wars cartoon set after Return of the Jedi.

Citing various sources of other websites, AICN reports that a new Star Wars cartoon post Return of the Jedi (done in the current Clone Wars style) might be on the horizon.

Could this mean possible animated introductions of Grand Admiral Thrawn, Mara Jade, and other Expanded Universe characters/ stories? One can only hope.
