Scans Daily Under Attack Again

Legal woes once more plague the online comic book scanning community, Scans Daily.

Scans Daily, the large online site that posts a third of a comic book story is yet again under fire. Earlier today, the moderating team revealed that DCMA notices have been issued to the Dreamwidith (the webhost to Scans Daily) to remove thirteen posts of Marvel content. All but one are of recent comics.

Just last year the site came under fire when it was forcefully closed out of it’s Live Journal domain by Marvel Legal. However, shortly after they created a new site at Insane Journal. It was decided by the higher up’s at Scans Daily to move to a Dreamwidth account due to this very issue it faces now.
