Thor and Avengers Movie Plot Spoilers

Are these spoilers for the Thor and Avengers movies legit? You’ll have to decide for yourself!

Thanks to Outhouse Correspondent KSChris , we have become aware of a report from IO9 claiming to have uncovered spoilers from both the Thor and Avengers movie plotlines. These spoilers are, of course, based purely on rumors, so take them with a grain of salt. Here you go:

Thor apparently starts with six warriors in Asgard: Thor, Loki, the Warriors Three and Sif. Loki, Odin’s adopted son, usurps the throne and Thor is cast down to Earth. Thor crashlands in the desert, where he’s run over by a PhD cosmology student (Natalie Portman) and her Norwegian professor (Stellan Skarsgard), who are driving out to study a strange cloud in the cosmos through a telescope.

When they realize that Thor really is the Norse thunder god, Skarsgard, who grew up with Norse mythology, can’t deal with it and he goes on a drinking binge.

The screenplay ends with a five-page battle, showcasing Thor’s and Loki’s contrasting fighting styles — Thor is all about raw power, but Loki is all about the fluid grace and slipperiness. And the closing battle is the first thing they’ll film.

But Loki survives the end of that movie, to become either the main villain in The Avengers, or one of the main villains. The Avengers opens with twenty minutes of Loki mind-controlling Bruce Banner and sending the Hulk on a murderous rampage, thus causing Captain America, Iron Man and Thor to come together.
