Ultimate Spider-Man Cartoon On Disney XD
Marvel and Disney have announced a new cartoon based on Ultimate Spider-Man to debut in Fall, 2011 on Disney XD.
The series will star a teenage Peter Parker coming to terms with his newfound powers and responsibilities while dealing with hsi high school relationships. The concept should fit well with the proposed tone of the Spider-Man movie reboot, which is also based on Ultimate Spider-Man. The cartoon will also feature team-ups with other Marvel characters. It is the first animated series starring Spider-Man produced by Marvel Animation. There was no comment on the future of the Spectacular Spider-Man cartoon, which is produced by Sony, and also airs on Disney XD.
