Wolverine: Madripoor Knights #1 reunites Captain America, Black Widow, and Wolverine. This story picks up at the 1990 point of Uncanny X-Men #268. Writer Chris Claremont picks up the pen again! Star Wars fans, rejoice! A new Mace Windu series starts this Wednesday, with Marc Bernardin and George Jeanty at the helm. The Ultimate Marvel Universe continues with Ultimate Black Panther #1. Bryan Edward Hill and Stefano Caselli are in the created spots. Possible new first appearances of old Ultimate Marvel characters. Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Return #1 from Boom Studios promises a “new era.” Written by the dynamic duo Amy Jo Johnson (yes, THE Amy Jo Johnson) and Matt Hotson, with art by Nico Leon. Because nothing screams “new era” like resurrecting heroes from the ’90s……again. Thundercats #1 from Dynamite Entertainment. Hard to believe the first Thundercats comic was in 1985, right? Now, Declan Shalvey and Drew Moss bring us back to Thundera. Plus, variant covers! Choosing between electricity and another Thundercats cover is the kind of decision adulting is all about with so many variants coming out.

Batman #142. Yes, the Dark Knight returns yet again, because Gotham apparently can’t get its act together. And who’s at the writing helm? None other than Chip Zdarsky, bringing us “Joker: Year One.” Because what we really needed was another deep dive into the psyche of a man who thinks green hair is a fashion statement. Poison Ivy #19 promises to reveal the “true” origin of Poison Ivy. So, the first 18 issues were just a practice run? Get ready for the real story. Image Comics throws its hat into the ring with The One Hand #1, calling to all fans of “Blade Runner” and “Ghost In The Shell.” With Ram V and Laurence Campbell steering this ship, expect dark, brooding cityscapes and at least one existential crisis. Alien #4 introduces a new organism. Because the franchise’s previous terrifying creatures were just too cuddly. Thanks, we hate it already. How To Lose A Guy Gardner In 10 Days #1. A Valentine’s romance comic featuring not one, not two, but eight new stories. With so many creators involved, it’s priced at a cool $9.99. Nothing says love like spending ten bucks to find out how to ditch a guy with a bowl cut.
