Happy holiday’s to all of our fans! You have continued our reign as the longest entertainment/speculative comic book website on the net. We appreciate every single one of you. Let’s get to this week’s comics….
Although we think Marvel is playing up the Phoenix return a bit too much, a new dedicated comic this Wednesday declares the big return; Phoenix Resurrection: The Return of Jean Grey #1. Writer Matthew Rosenberg and artist Leinil Francis Yu.
Star Wars fans will be happy campers this Wednesday. If you have seen The Last Jedi movie, you will have learned and seen a planet named Crait. A salt ridden planet in which the Resistance did battle with the First Order many years before. A new comic this week will focus in on that battle. Check out Star Wars The Last Jedi – The Storms of Crait #1. Creators Ben Acker, Ben Blacker and Mike Mayhew do the honors.
Amazing Spider-Man #793 continues the hot Venom Inc. (part 4) storyline.
Looks as though The Purple Man character is really making his presence felt lately. Jessica Jones #15; Return of The Purple Man part 3. Purple Man first appeared in Daredevil #4 (1964).

DC’s Doomsday Clock #2 arrives this week. Fans ate up the first issue with a mostly reserved opinion on whether or not they’ll like where writer Geoff Johns is leading us to, let’s see how the follow-up goes. We have great faith it will go just right.
A possible new villain appearance in Action Comics #994. “Booster Shot” part 2.
The “Super Sons of Tomorrow” story continues in Teen Titans #15.
Phoenix is back for Marvel this week, Hawkman will bid his return this week as well. Check out Hawkman Found #1 from Jeff Lemire, Bryan Hitch and Kevin Nowlan.

InvestComics Indie Hot Picks; Indie comics do not always show up on Ebay right way. Please check back on a regular basis, some of the smaller print indie books usually list after new comic book release day or a few days after.
A new release from Scout Comics; Ghosts of Hiroshima #1. With Scout comics, two things are always guaranteed, good art and good storytelling. Creators; Jim Krueger and Luigi Borillo.
From interesting new release from Image Comics; Bonehead #1 from creators Bryan Edward Hill and Rhoald Marcellius.
Not sure how much of the new Cerebus comic is new material (if at all), but with creative names like Dave Sim and Frank Miller (Dark Knight homage cover) attached, no matter; The Vark Knight Returns #1.
Comix Tribe had Sink #3 on delay, so we’re not sure if Sink #4 will hit this week. It’s supposed to, so we’ll see. It’s a hot series for the Tribe, so hopefully they get back on schedule.
Scarlett’s Strike Force #1 (IDW); creators Aubrey Sitterson and Nelson Daniel.
Magika #1 (Red Giant); creators David Lawrence, Kevin Juaire and Sebastian Cheng.
Zipper: Cosmic Jungle #1 (Arcana Comics).
Casper & Wendy #1 (American Mythology); Jenni Gregory and S.A. Check.
Meteor Swarm #1 (American Mythology); Patrick Shand and Rich Bonk.
