NEW Comic Covers That Hit Harder Than a Hulk Punch

NEW Comic Covers That Hit Harder Than a Hulk Punch.
This week’s Hot New Comic Covers are not playing around. Galactus is basically a planet-sized threat on Fantastic Four #48, while Black Widow is dragging Iron Man into a problem he definitely created himself on Iron Man #8. Wonder Woman? She’s smiling—but we’re not sure why. And Hulk? He’s crushing Thor across a wraparound cover that might just crack your longbox. Whether it’s a Force-powered Kylo Ren or a 90s-style Spidey swing, these covers are throwing down art, value, and pure collectibility. It’s not about reading—it’s about collecting, speculating, and maybe even framing a few. Let’s dive in deeper, shall we?

These new comics are scheduled for release on May 21, 2025. As of now, we are not aware of any delays and cannot be held responsible for any unforeseen changes.

NEW Comic Covers That Hit Harder Than a Hulk Punch.

Fantastic Four #48
by Taurin Clarke doesn’t just feature Galactus—it dares you to blink in his presence. The scale of the Devourer of Worlds looms in full god-mode with a glowing blue hand crackling with impending cosmic doom. Tiny jets foolishly swarm him like mosquitoes, probably regretting every life choice that led to this moment. Clarke nails the threat level perfectly—Galactus isn’t just arriving; he’s redefining what “presence” means for a comic cover.

Over in the DC universe, Wonder Woman #21 by Kris Anka is giving us lasso chaos and smirking confidence. Diana’s got the rope flinging in all directions like she’s ready to rope in some nonsense, and yet she’s smiling like she knows something you don’t. Oh—and that Superman “S” on her chest? Yeah, we noticed. Whether it’s a nod, a flex, or both, this cover’s asking questions and answering them with attitude. Daniel Sampere’s cover reminds everyone exactly whose book this is. Wonder Woman stands front and center on a rooftop, exuding unshakable poise while Batman lurks higher in the background. Lightning cracks across the sky like nature itself is staging their entrance. Their posture—forward-facing and focused to the right—signals one thing: something or someone is about to get handled. The mood? Tension at full volume, and it looks phenomenal.

Iron Man #8 by Yasmine Putri nearly claimed the Cover Gem title this week, and for good reason. Black Widow is not here for Tony Stark’s nonsense. She’s wrapped around him like a spider with a web of rope that’s choking the smug right out of him. Tony’s helmet is up, face full of regret, while Widow looks like this is all going exactly as planned. The dark palette lets the tension breathe—and colorist Alex Sinclair deserves a nod for making black-on-black pop so effectively. This one’s brutal, elegant, and just a breath away from perfection.

Titans #23 by Otto Schmidt might not yell at you, but it doesn’t need to. Donna Troy, Starfire, and Raven stare down the viewer like they’re tolerating your presence—and barely. The composition keeps things tight, the expressions restrained, but there’s no doubt: step lightly or not at all. The vibe? Cold, stylish, and quietly dangerous.

And then there’s Jim Henson’s The Storyteller #4 by Cory Godbey, which stopped us in our tracks with something no multiverse punch-up could ever do—empathy. An old man and his dog sharing a quiet moment, rendered in rich reds and soft monochrome lines. It’s sentimental without being cheap. The expression, the gesture, the ambiance—it all whispers a story of love, loyalty, and maybe a little loss. This one hit emotionally harder than expected.

If sexy covers are your thing, Thunderbolts: Doomstrike #5 by Ivan Talavera showed up and said, “Here, drool over this.” Black Widow is full glam and full danger, dressed in black latex, hip cocked, guns pointed skyward like she’s got two exit strategies and neither involves questions. Meanwhile, Doctor Doom’s ominous face fills the background like a looming shadow you can’t quite escape. It’s calculated seduction with a dose of Doom.

Spider-Man & Wolverine #1 got the deluxe double-treatment this week, and both artists brought the chaos. Godtail delivers full-on bloodied claws and rage-mode Wolverine with a backdrop of messy violence. Spidey’s in it too, but honestly, you’re too busy wondering whose blood is on those claws. Then Kaare Andrews steps in with a blast-from-the-past ‘90s cover, all warped Spidey physics and open-mouthed Wolverine fury. If you were ever emotionally attached to polybagged comics, this one’s calling you home.

The Ultimates #12 by Sanford Greene takes the “team pose” trope and goes full minimalist with it. A stark white background frames the Ultimates standing together, ready for war. The simplicity makes the characters pop, and the cover screams unity, power, and that classic comic energy without doing too much.

And now for something Sith. Star Wars: Legacy of Vader #4 by Derrick Chew brings us Kylo Ren like you’ve always wanted to see him: mid-stride, hooded, sabers and Force powers activated, and coming right at you like he means to cause a problem. He’s not just walking—he’s invading the frame, and the way Chew balances body language and energy makes this one feel like the scene after the warning.

Lastly, The Incredible Hulk #25 by Nic Klein goes full wraparound cover madness. Hulk is the size of a small building, bearing down on a relatively “tiny” Thor who’s trying to whip Mjolnir into a speed-blur defense. The tension, the motion, the sheer mass of Hulk’s body over the entire thing—it’s a heavyweight visual slugfest captured mid-impact. Even if you didn’t want this comic, you probably still want this cover.
