Batman #89 – Trending at a fever pitch right now. Expect to be limited to one copy when you go to your local comic shop this Wednesday. The first look (cameo appearance) of Joker’s new girlfriend; Punchline. Her first full appearance doesn’t occur for another few weeks. So, the trending aftermarket will put this comic at a price disadvantage for those who cannot get it on new comic book release day. Already sold out on the distributor level. This means many comic shops will hoard their own copies and break them out on eBay at a premium. Good luck getting at least ONE copy at regular price on Wednesday. Writer James Tynion IV introduces Punchline to the world as artist Guillem March gives us the visual. UPDATE: This comic already has an asking price of $30 – $40 on eBay. Seriously, good luck getting this at your comic shop.
Revenge Of The Cosmic Ghost Rider #3 – Learn more about the Cosmic Ghost Rider as new secrets to his origin are revealed. Dennis Hopeless Hallum writes and Scott Hepburn draws.
Wolverine #1 – Another volume number one for the Wolverine character. This time “He’s back!” Okay. Writer Ben Percy and artists Adam Kubert and Viktor Bogdanvic. Accompanied by tons of variant covers.

Machine Man 2020 #1 – A new Machine Man solo series from Christos N. Gage and Tom DeFalco (writers), with Andy MacDonald on pencils. The classic 1978 Jack Kirby solo Machine Man series is still the prize though. Let’s see what these great creators can bring this Wednesday.
Spawn #305 – Todd McFarlane draws a five-page solo story.
Wonder Woman Giant #3 – Amanda Conner and Jimmy Palmiotti bring a new Wonder Woman story to this Giant-Size.

Marvel’s Voices #1 – Totally not understanding what this comic is exactly. Something about the Marvel podcast and it comes to life in this comic. Makes little to no sense, but creators Vita Ayala, Brian Stelfreeze and others are involved, so it has to be good.
On The Stump #1 – New Image Comics series from Chuck Brown and Prenzy. Like violent politics? This one is for you.
Plunge #1 – Horror imprint; Joe Hill: Hill House Comics brings a new series this week. Writer Joe Hill himself and artist Stuart Immonen.

Bang! #1 – This comic is already sold out ahead of its release. Going for a premium on eBay as well. Upwards to $15-$25. The story from Matt Kindt has already been optioned. From Dark Horse Comics. Writer Matt Kindt and artist Wilfredo Torres.
